There was a Ukraine woman on the news yesterday who had been taken in by a Guffy family soon after the ‘invasion’(obvs for Facebook likes). They soon got sick of her and said she had to find somewhere else to live when they went abroad on a 3 week holiday ?

Poor lassie ended up on the streets.

Not really spoken of much now. Still happening?

Latest update. HIMARS is fucking Russia's shit all the way up.

A half dozen of them are degrading Russia's artillery advantage and fuel/ammo stockpiles.

Poland just ordered 500 of them.

Yanks pulled a fast one there. Provoke a war in Ukraine then make trillions selling arms to their spooked neighbours.

No-one provoked Putin in Ukraine any more than they did when he invaded Georgia, Moldova, Crimea, Donbas, or sent troops to Syria and Khazakstan. Nor when he threatened to nuke the UK, attack NATO, the EU, Finland, Sweden, nor even when he issued a list of 'Enemies O Vlad'.... those being... Albania, Andorra, Australia, Great Britain, including Jersey, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, European Union member states, Iceland, Canada, Liechtenstein, Micronesia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, United States, Taiwan, Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland and Japan.

The tubby little cunt is a tubby little cunt who likes to push his weight around and literally admitted he wants to be the spiritual heir to Peter the Great.

Will it benefit the US when everyone buys our fantastic weapons to prevent him from invading?

Yes it will.

But blaming the US for Putin is like blaming a battered wife.

LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!

C'mon now.

The US have been up to no good in Ukraine for years. They might not be 100% to blame but they've had a role to play and have benefitted massively.

Of course they have, they were all over the coup to remove the pro Russian boy and install their actor puppet

I think it's fair to say that the Russians were propping up an unpopular government, and suppressing any attempts at political discourse or objection... the poisoning of Yanokovych being classic a Putin move to chill political activism and opposition.

I'm certain the US was also involved in Ukrainian politics, but I don't see how the US being involved with a neutral country is the catalyst for a Russian invasion when Russia was even more directly involved in Ukrainian politics.

The Orange Revolution itself was clearly a popular movement, rather than some CIA-backed pro-American minority.

Putin is an expansionist who wants direct control over more and more territory... blaming the Yanks for that is a bit myopic, tbh.

propaganda continues. American support must be maintained since $40Bn of taxpayers money is heading that way in ‘aid’. Aid being yank tax money paying weapons manufacturers so that weapons can be sent there. Public money to private interests. War Pigs

You're thinking back to when there were actual repercussions for robbing the national treasury, when they laundered the cash through military and industrial contracts.

That was the 20th Century method.

In the 21st Century government just takes the money, distributes it among their buddies, and tells the public to fuck off if they ask where the money went.

I mean, we still fund arms manufacturers, but that's just gravy. In reality the whole 'Sheen of credibility' bullshit is no longer required.

Rumsfeld did it with $2.3 TRILLION dollars... simply announced, "Hey... an astronomical amount of money can't be tracked. So, there's that. Crazy, huh?"

Now that kind of "Whoopsie.. we lost more than the entire GDP of Great Britain, what can you do, eh?" would have ordinarily set Senate hearings in motion at the very least. "Where's our fucking money?" kind of thing. People would go to jail for life for this kind of looting of the national wealth.

... but Rumsfeld's timing was spectacularly spooky... almost as if he knew something catastrophic was about to happen that would overshadow this unbelievable heist and make everyone forget this ever happened.

He made this announcement on September 10th, 2001.

How lucky was THAT?

In 2020, Trump had $2 Trillion dollars of stimulus money to fuck around with. Trump really likes money. Unfortunately for him he couldn't just give it to whoever he wanted, like himself, because there was an Inspector General who oversaw all financial distributions. So Trump fired that Inspector General and we never saw that $2 Trillion again.

Even this pales in comparison to what happened in 2018, though.

The Pentagon decided it would make 'financial adjustments' to funds totalling around $35 trillion, around 10 times the UK's GDP, because, you know...  who can keep track of all that cash? Not the Pentagon, we're just simple military folk who don't math.

In 2019 it was another $30 Trillion by the Pentagon.

TR-3Bs aren't cheap.

Interesting post, will need to read into that Rumsfeld thing. An immediate wiki for his religious background let me down on my narrative alas

Any info on the ‘recipients’ nose size or foreskin status?

Putin is a cunt with imperialist designs.

Kidding on NATO expansion isn't a provocation after the disbandment of the Warsaw Pact and the promises made upon its disbandment is daft IMO. That's not to excuse his actions, nor is it to say Ukraine shouldn't be a sovereign nation.

The American exceptionalism surrounding Russia's aggression/place in the world is pull your hair out infuriating.

America routinely overthrows democratically elected governments and wreaks havocs in nations where it looks like their natural resources are going to be nationalised.

It's fine though, cause America good.

People who try to moralise Russia v America v China are absolutely daft. None are forces for good, they all have imperialist designs that work against the idea of a sovereign nation, something that everyone seems desperate to protect in the name of Ukraine.

Working people everywhere should be standing up to these sociopathic, tyrannical organisations.

Zelensky doing a photo shoot for a high end fashion magazine whilst millions of Ukrainians are displaced from their homes and some are getting slaughtered, is truly the most bizarre thing imaginable. It just patently, looks awful.
