Coventry v Sutton in English FA cup 88-89 is the closest that springs to my mind. At the time, Sutton were non league and Coventry had won the trophy just 2 seasons earlier (I had incorrectly remembered they were holders at the time)

That incident typified our collective poor attitude and lack of responsibility last night.

McCrorie, our "specialist" long throw-in expert, sauntered over to retrieve the ball as though he was walking through a swamp. He has as much passion for AFC and urgency as a dead slug.

It took around 30 seconds to sort out who was going to take the throw-in. Embarrassing and utterly disgraceful.

Also, it emphasised yet again Anthony Stewart's basic lack of football nous and skills and that he is not a leader whatsoever. Unwilling to take ownership of the situation at hand and take a simple throw-in. He is as hollow as the Mariana Trench.

An absolute abomination of a footballer.

2 things I noticed about last night:

Darvel player made a pass straight to McCrorie's chest. 

It just bounced off him and went back to the Darvel player. No control from McCrorie whatsoever, like he was a wooden post.

And Coulson coming off and him and Goodwin completely ignoring each other.
