Henry
On topic: I dare someone at the EE has asked him if he would like to play for Wales again. He has probably answered something along the lines of 'Yes, but I'm concentrating on establishing myself at AFC first, etc' The headline then writes itself for EE.; Link to comment
Crossbow
He could do with a wee bit of weight reduction to start with. Link to comment

phoenix
I'll have to read it first but I'm all for players being given the freedom to express themselves , to tell us a little bit about themselves. Sometimes here in the North-East , where until quite recently , from an early age , it was a case of 'sit down , shut up' or 'speak when you're spoken to' , a disinclination to speak is something to be admired. Not the Welsh ! The most garrulous people on the Planet. Link to comment

muttonhumper
Really refreshing to read of someone appearing genuinely happy to be playing for the Dons. Jason Brown says he is back in love with football after Pittodrie switchThe Aberdeen goalkeeper has said that he feels success is just around the corner for Craig Brown's men. Aberdeen goalkeeper Jason Brown admits that he very nearly gave up football a year ago, but life at Pittodrie has reignited his passion for the game. Brown has played 12 games since taking the first-choice goalkeeper spot from David Gonzalez in December, and has only tasted defeat twice during those matches. It is a remarkable turnaround for the Welsh international, who managed just 12 games and intermittent loan spells during his time at Blackburn. The goalkeeper told Red TV: "I'm loving it here. I fell back in love with football. "This time last year, if I'm being perfectly honest, I would have walked away from the game. I just felt I wasn't getting the rub of the green. You feel the whole world is against you. "But I love it here and my family love it here. A lot of people think my contract is up in the summer but I have another year and I'm hoping to stay many years after that." Brown also believes that Aberdeen can build on their recent improvements and continue to build. He added: "I want success and I genuinely believe we can get it here, 100% hand on heart, and I want to be part of that." "I think we can do some exciting things next season. You have to take into consideration that this is a new squad. "A lot of people have looked past that and said 'this is not good enough'. But you have to take that into consideration." The goalkeeper still has ambitions for the remainder of this season, and would like to maintain the Dons' position in the top six by defeating Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday. The 29-year-old said: "Up until fifth they have a nice cushion. We are six points behind but we play them as well. "We play teams in and around us so we can take points to consolidate top six. But going to Hibs will be very tough. They have brought in a lot of players from England and they are fighting for their lives. "So we have to go with the same attitude as we have been doing and stay in the game because they will come out flying being the home team." Link to comment
Redstar
I've been critical of Broon(keeper) before...must be something about the name...but after a few comical moments he seems to be growing in confidence and looking fairly reliable. He could yet prove to be Broon(jury still out)'s best signing. Link to comment
dervish
Well at least AFCs media department has wised up to getting the players to say they like playing for us lately, but yeah seems to be acceptable. Record speaks for it'self too. Link to comment

Brown has been pretty good, a great speaker also, and couple that with a genuine desire to do well for the club, then that makes him ok by me. Link to comment
OddJob
Aye it's really refreshing to read that about one of our players. Seems like a likeable guy and certainly earning his wages that's for sure. Long may it continue Link to comment

He really seems to have built a bond with the club judging from the way he interacts with fans on Twitter. I can't see Langfield staying come the summer now. Link to comment
deco_1985
Going by what he says on his twitter page, and the way he has always come over to the fans after the game that I have been to, punches the badge etc, I get the feeling he genuinely loves being at the club and loves the fans too. Seems to be a solid enough keeper as well! Link to comment
King Street Loon
Great interview. Good to hear such positivity coming out from one of our players. A player who really seems to enjoy being here. That in itself is refreshing as sometimes I get the impression that some players don't really want to be up here. Keep up the good from Jason Link to comment

Dandyjam
Good on him, this should be the sort of attitude of players through out the team and think it's slowly becoming this way and we seem to be slowly weeding out the losers and folk who don't really want to be here. Link to comment
