CalgaryDon
That's the sign of a very strong Dons side. We've had several players out this season and even with Logan out today, we grabbed all three points. This is the best dons side I can recall for such a long time. What a run we are on - cant remember us doing this well for such a long time. Link to comment
TopDon
Great way to sign off for 2014. We weren't at our best but did enough defensively second half to keep Inverness at bay. Hats off to Scott Brown today, he earned us those points today. Link to comment
King Street Loon
Scrappy win, but will happily take it.ICT will be disappointed, but who gives a flying.Scott Brown for MOTM. Link to comment
Tord31
Good start and great goal. Had to dig in deep to get the three points, great effort, well done. COYR!!! Link to comment
Sheeptastic
Scott Brown made some excellent saves. Didn't look sure in the air at times but he was probably the most important player in getting the three points today. If Logan isn't back for next week then we should stick with Murray but he needs a helping hand. I thought he was a midfielder? Scrappy scrappy game but three points was essential. Link to comment
CraigHill
Good win. Not pretty though, or possibly even deserved. Some great saves from Brown, but some terrible efforts coming off his line. How fat is Doran? Never a footballer! Link to comment

muttonhumper
Fucking magic result. Bit jittery and have just emptied what looked like a handful of maltesers out of my boxers, but...fucking chuffed. Chance to go top on New Years Day is an unreal thought. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Huge result. We were garbage. delighted to come away with all 3!!! Onto the next big game... Link to comment

Assuming that Monakana leaves to free up the space I'll take a left back and a versatile midfielder. Link to comment

fifered
Really good 3 points even though it was far from our best performance. Who'd have thought we'd have a chance of top on New Year's Day. Incredible turn around in our club in the last few years. Hopefully the shadow of tony pullis over all the shite EPL teams will have west brom chasing him and keeping their distance from mcinnes. Would mcinnes definately leave a potential title challenge to manage a shite team in a shite city battling relegation anyway. Maybe not. 1 Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
There's no way he could say no to a chance in the premiership. Here's hoping he doesn't get the chance for a few years yet 1 Link to comment
lazio_don
The board has now got to back Derek, no excuses, this probably the best chance we have had of winning the league since 92/93 season. Link to comment
RUL
I thought goodwille was poor to be honest. Link to comment

Who'd have thought we'd have a chance of top on New Year's Day. Indeed. Amazing that far into the season.Of course we had the chance to go top twice the season before last against Celtic & Inverness.Though both were in November. and both lost. There's no way he could say no to a chance in the premiership. There is way.I doubt it would be as cut and dried as you assume. Link to comment
Eastcoastdon
I thought goodwille was poor to be honest. What is everyone expecting him to do when he is up top on his own. other than what he is doing already and doing a good job of if I must say so myself! 1 Link to comment

zoso77
Right behind goal for 2nd half, was a stonewall penalty, rooneys header was flying in ,ref just couldn't see.mginn looked even more lazy than usual till he switched for last 20.jack awesome again .scrappy game ,good result to grind out,not at our best today.good bounce, especially 2nd half Link to comment
Sheeptastic
The great thing about Goodwillie's strength and hold-up play is that when we do need to play a more direct ball, whether it be in the air or on the ground, the ball sticks up top a little more. He's excellent at killing it, holding on to it and then spotting a supporting player as quick as possible. It's a breath of fresh air because when we had the likes of Mackie or whoever, the first touch would be a bad one and then the second a tackle. We need to sign him up, hoping we've offered him something. Wouldn't say today was his best performance but I can't see it being much longer before he adds a few goals as well. Link to comment
