Despite all their pressure I actually didn't see them scoring. Felt quite safe first half I'll he honest.

PAOK weren't good tonight. Against Frankfurt, they were were way way better. In the league they have been better. They have Panathinaikos and Olympiakos in the league back to back next. Playing them over there will be brutal, a very different match. But it's over, field the B team and focus on Hibs, Celtic, Rangers, Motherwell games coming up. Winning the League Cup is doable, tough as Hell but doable, even with Bazza Three Subz calling the shots.

True

But we can't control that

Plenty we could control and absolutely ballsed up momentously

Again

Bang on. It’s fine to be raging with the penalty decision, but I’m more angry with the things we’ve done to conspire to lose that. We haven’t played for 2.5 weeks and we take off 3 young players that are capable putting a shift in. Barron looked absolutely pumped and Polvara had the adrenaline of a goal, no way they were struggling with 90 mins. Ffs the old man in midfield plays 90 mins every fucking week so why can’t the young lads?

To be fair, going 3-1 up just after they make it 2-1 completely takes the momentum away from them.

Shameful & unacceptable VAR didn’t even review it.
They are instructed to look at everything that goes on in the penalty box.

Robson’s subs were very “strange”.

And why not make them one minute after the other to keep breaking the game up?
Polvara was cramping, so get him off.

Then make the others incrementally after.
Common sense, surely?

Ok, do the club have a review after each game or is it just a case ‘ ah well we got beat never mind’ because Robson needs to be told how he fucked up tonight with his subs. Amateurish from him and he has to learn. Only by admitting our mistakes can we prevent similar ones in the future.

Game management a lacking.

Sticky first half.

Superb for 30 minutes second half.

Wind fair picked up at the same time the subs came on and also sloppy defending by us for both their goals.  Nae sure we needed to make 3 subs and we should maybe have kept Barron on as he was our motm easily.

Penalty at the end for them looked soft and it looked like a foul on Mackenzie in their box earlier?  Is var only for the rich teams?

Sickener. We deserved something out of that.

All 3 that got hooked had cramp, apparently

Honestly, just win the League Cup and finish in the top 4. Be pragmatic. Scottish Cup won't be a picnic. As for Robson, he reeks of caretaker winging-it wally. We have very good players who get on with each other, we just need a PROPER manager. Look far and wide and stump up the money (millions). Fuck the new stadium, get a PROPER MANAGER.

If it was only that simple, I fear things will go to rat shit now. I would take 6th and the league cup. Silverware vs the Huns in a final would be worth it.

Actually if we are going to win a trophy win the Scottish cup and hope Hearts come 3rd to deny them their European spot.

Well the subs really changed the game didn't they - just Goodwinesque from Robson.

If anyone knows what Johnny Hayes was thinking could they please inform the relevant authorities?

3 of the shittest goals you could ever hope to concede - absolutely gifted it to them.

2-3 comebacks from 2-0 down are great, but this was pure pish, PAOK's goals were indeed gifted to them. They were okay in the first half but shit in the opening of the second half, hence the 2-0 lead. But the 3 subs, the VAR injustice and the nodding off gifted POAK 3 points.

Focus on winning the League Cup by any means necessary (roughness) and just beast on in the league, don't make a cunt of it in the Scottish Cup (don't lose to anything below the Premier teams) and try to finish fourth/fifth and maintain our level which is Conference, not Europa, sorry but Europa is the new Champions League and Champions League is for billion bucks mega-corporation clubs now. Pragmatism, an ancient Scottish philosophy, as is belligerence and despair!

We can moan about VAR all we like but Barry alone made an arse of it with too many subs, too early and the wrong players going off.

Simples.

It’s unfortunately what happens when you appoint a novice manager. Whilst I accept there are upsides to it, at the top level (like tonight) even a semi experienced manager doesn’t make the mistakes like ours did tonight

At 2-0 it was a dream match, then it became a farce.

The thing is he only has to look at his predecessor making the same mistake less than a year ago.  That 3-2 defeat v the huns was the beginning of the end for Goodwin.

Wouldn’t of taken Barron off but polvara and miovski were out on their feet

Go down then... waste time. So fucking naive. Break the game up.

As milne_afc said... we are just weak as fuck mentally.

Got to agree with this, Polvara was struggling but just hobbled about whilst play raged on, go down and waste time your two nil up.

It was a stonewall penalty which would have finished the game putting us 3-1 up.

He took Hayes on who appeared to be put in the centre of midfield😳 Hayes is finished so why put him on.. Barron and Shinnie were playing well so why take Barron off at all
