We also had to do something right to go 2-0 up in the first place. If the score then goes 3-1 courtesy of a penalty, i don't see how you ignore that it would positively influence the game in our direction.

The subs are on Robson... the two goals we lost are on him. The losing goal and denial of one for us is VAR. Those are facts. Im not in denial Robson is a fucknut with his subs and tactics, but we can equally say VAR costs us points.
