"hillsborough Files To Be Released"

Recommended Posts

police are paid to police, on the day in question they fukked up, ambulance services were called to assist, they didnt, the police fucked up, the police lost control of a crowd and highly paid senior officers hit the self destruct button as they had no plans other than horses and batons.

we've all been part of that sorts of crowd, when you know its going to go south and you fear for your safety, football fans then and now are treated like scum that will never change.

The FA is marking the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster by delaying the kick-offs of all Premier League, Football League and Conference matches by seven minutes, with the same procedure being followed in both the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley.

Arsenal's tie with Wigan Athletic will now kick off at the national stadium at 5.07pm on Saturday 12 April, while Hull City v Sheffield United will begin there at 4.07pm the following day. A minute's silence will be held at these games and at all league matches from Friday 11 to Monday 14 April in the final minute before the delayed kick-offs.
The FA Cup semi-final on 15 April 1989 between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, when 96 fans lost their lives, was ended six minutes after kick-off because of the crush in Hillsborough's Leppings Lane End.

Dunkin’ Donuts, one of Liverpool’s official sponsors, has apologised after upsetting fans by tweeting an altered version of the club’s crest that replaced the Hillsborough eternal flames with what appeared to be milk shakes.
The company also substituted the Shankly gates on the top of the crest with a picture of doughnuts and a coffee and instead of the legend: “You’ll never walk alone” they instituted the slogan: “America runs on Dunkin’”.

Their tweet, since taken down, read: “Love the LFC crest? Tweet us what you’d want on your personal crest and we might surprise you with your own!”

In a statement reported by the Liverpool Echo they said: “We apologise for any insensitivity regarding our tweet supporting an LFC-themed promotion featuring the LFC crest.

“As a proud partner of LFC, we did not intend any offence, particularly to the club’s supporters. We have removed the tweet and halted the campaign immediately.”
Liverpool signed a multi-million pound deal with the American company in January 2014 when the club saluted “our official coffee, tea and bakery provider”.

It just grates me that it's now gotten to the point where mentioning a disaster angers me. Yes it should be something to learn from but any opportunity these cunts get they latch onto it like it's some badge of honour for their club. Victimising the victims and their families any time the topic arises.

Irvine Welsh had it right:

-Scousers are a bunch of f*ck*ng sad drama queens. It's like the whole cess-pit of a city is auditioning for Brookside. Cannae be denied.

-All I was saying is that when something bad happens in Liverpool, Youse c*nts go f*ck*ng do-lally. You take it as an excuse to parade banners at the football.....illsburgh.....i-sell.....I put on an imitation scouse nasal bleat. -Why can't you just sit in the f*ck*ng house and mourn quietly, Why do you always have to turn everything into a tasteless audition for Brookside,to show who can be the most f*ck*d up by tragedy?
- Because we care, that's why. Because we stick together! The T-shirt spits out.
Stick together! Ha! Youse c*nts are in and out of each others' hooses with each others' property all day long. Show the f*cking professional ghouls in that city something to mourn and they'll be out in force. That the boys from the black stuff shite...you b*st*rds are glad that there's nae jobs, n that, cause it gives you something to act so f*ck*n tragic and hard-done-by!
The biggest tragedy though for you c*nts was that Lockerbie disaster happened somewhere else. Imaginethe fun youse c*nts would have had if that plane came down on some shitey Liverpool slum estate! It would have kept youse greeting and snarling in front of the cameras for years!
