What's your running shoe preference Buc? 

I had a pair of Saucony Ride 13's and absolutely loved them. Upgraded to the 15's and hated them. 

Currently using Brooks Ghost 14's and they're great. Always fancied a pair of Hoka's though. Might get them next.

Not keen on Brooks Styro 

Normally for me it's Nike or New Balance but I do like Saucony my running mate of 35 years wears them a lot.

I’ve been getting their ads popping up for the last while. Is that chunky sole for trail running? Looks excessive for me and my needs.

Not sure on their trail running shoes as I usually just do road running, but yeah the soles are quite chunky.

Or in my case injuries from not paying attention in the forest .

The last one being 4 weeks ago.

But ran a six miles this morning which I'm happy about Sooper .

Most running shoes seem to be going down the big chunky soles. I think they look a bit excessive and not seen a massive difference in comfort between my last pair of Asics and the newer ones which have the chunky look about them. 
 

These Saucony trail ones seem quite low and normal in comparison.
