sevco look like they are a shoe in this season - hopefully Hibs can get their act together.

Still a hellava long way to go before they'll be a decent force again, if ever.

Dons showing how very hard it is to put yourself on the uefa gravy train when starting from scratch. Need to qualify every year and fluke against the odds a group stage before even considering to be seeded for qualifiers.

sevco fans will struggle with this 3-4 years down the line. Not used to being underdogs in Europe and come up against a Sociedad, Bilbao or Rijeka while their neighbours get to play Starjnan and a final qualifier against Malmo.

It is an interesting factor because the money for finishing 2nd rather than 13th is nae great shakes. Europe is where the money is.

Simply because as soon as sevco went into the lower leagues other clubs voted to spread the money to the said lower leagues

Stewerty Milne being a big part of this but just wait till they get back up the money will suddenly by magic be given to second place again

This is how it changed to suit sevco please look at second place every other one is up or the same and we know who would have landed in that second place

why could the other clubs not see they were taken for a ride

So, the Boche seem to be jettisoning players now...first McGregor and now Zaliukas.

Apparently McGregor was their best player last year and has now left and signed for rivals hibs for nowt.

PMG suggests a 1 in, 1 out policy but hopefully this is simple desperation too. Of course, the orc support will view this as warburton carefully sculpting his team.

Being the best in that team is like being the best in a special Olympics event when you don't have a disability.

Charles Green likely to face charges over his time as Rangers chief executive

Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green is likely to face charges relating to his time at the club, BBC Scotland has learned.
He is expected to be spoken to by Police Scotland on Tuesday morning.
Mr Green took control at Rangers after buying the club's assets following administration and liquidation in 2012.
He stepped down following allegations that he was working in conjunction with the club's former owner Craig Whyte.
Craig Whyte has already been charged with being involved in a fraudulent scheme to take control of the club in 2011.
He and three others were released on bail last year.
It was unclear what charges Charles Green is facing but he has already spoken to the police on three separate occasions.

Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green has been charged by police as part of an investigation into events during his time at the club, BBC Scotland has learned.
It is thought he will appear in private at Glasgow Sherriff Court on Wednesday.
Mr Green, 62, was held after arriving for talks at Livingston police station.
The 62-year-old led a consortium which bought Rangers assets following administration and liquidation in 2012.
Police Scotland confirmed a 62-year-old man had been arrested and was being detained in police custody "in connection with an ongoing investigation into the alleged fraudulent acquisition of Rangers FC in 2012".
It is believed that David Whitehouse, 50, who worked for administrators Duff and Phelps, has been arrested amid a probe into the 2012 acquisition.
A police statement said: "Following a Police Scotland operation on Tuesday 1 September 2015, a 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into the alleged fraudulent acquisition of Rangers FC in 2011.
"Around 0600 hours officers from Police Scotland's Economic Crime Unit, assisted by officers from Cheshire, attended at an address in England and detained the 50-year-old man.
"He has now been arrested and is presently detained in police custody. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
Mr Green stepped down from Rangers following allegations that he was working in conjunction with the club's former owner Craig Whyte.
Mr Whyte has already been charged with being involved in a fraudulent scheme to take control of the club in 2011.
Arriving at the police station on Tuesday morning, he said: "I've been invited to attend an interview with Police Scotland. I have done that on a number of occasions in the past."
Asked why he was there, Mr Green replied: "Well, one of the difficulties with today is my legal people had asked Police Scotland to provide us information that we're likely to be questioned on and they wouldn't provide that so I'm at a loss really."

Current Sevco hypothetically illegally bought the assets of the club formally known as Rangers. So the thing that some people incorrectly call Rangers? Through trial proved innocent but loan called in and share issue can't happen before they die? Or worse better they are stripped of the assets they appropriated illegally.

In essence, Sevco Scotland who are what you now call rangers might not own the assets they thought they did. This is unfortunate because the large immoral unscrupulous sports clothing magnate loaned them his loose change on the basis they did. He might be a tad pissed and ask for his money back in fact. Not a problem says Sevco Scotland we obviously have the cash here for you. Only they don't because they run at a horrific loss and mr Ashley's cash has been used to plug the gap. Isn't their a safety net to stop poor ok filthy rich unscrupulous sports magnates being taken advantage of in this way I hear you ask? Well yes there is actually. Every year there is a little room in hampden that is tasked with ensuring that all participating teams in their competitions have cash reserves for falling on hard times. Obviously they have been screaming that Sevco Scotland should be turfed out or at very least forced to lodge a cash bond as they forced other clubs to do. Only they didn't, haven't and continue not to.

Gut feel is charges against Green and Whyte will be administrative niceties only. I am assuming that both were on the make but had enough sense to make sure they weren't listed as ultimate beneficiaries. Don't know if whitehouse is still with D&P but I suspect he'll be out of there quicker than a shell networking session at Stoney premier inn.

Impact on Sevco Scotland? At best nothing with charges dropped clearing assets to support yet another share float but you still have to query why you would invest in a money pit. Worst case scenario? Ashley forced to call in his loan and Sevco, bereft of assets and hence loanees forced to call In Administrative protection. Still can't see it going to liquidation though. Money spinning cash cow is too valuable to Ashley to remove his claws from.

The former owner of the Ibrox sidewho led the club into administration and liquidation in 2012 – had earlier been driven into Govan Police Station in Glasgow’s Helen Street by an unmarked police car at around 6.30pm.

Very confusing. Thought it was the same club.

They aren't saying it in the papers yet. Though to the casual observer (me) there's a document where Green (seems all aledgeledly etc) to dissolve Sevco 5088 where he signs that he's the only director, when he's not. Right next to where he signs it says it's illegal to do that. Always never understood why that hadn't come back up through what Whyte was trying to do but maybe now it has...

Kind of. He allegedly signed as supposed only director of Sevco 5088 to say another company Sevco Scotland could buy THE ASSETS of rangers (I.e not 'the club'). This was required as RFC's LIQUIDATION documentation gave 5088 exclusive purchasing rights. Others who understood they were still directors of 5088 are understandably a bit pissed about it. The ethnic minority inhabiting the woodpile is that more than one of the individuals involved had no business being anywhere near 5088 in the first place!

Allegedly.

Key for avid watchers like me is that i'm hoping a private meeting that took place between whyte (rangers at the time) and ogilvie Regan and co pre admin (bearing in mind a cva like hearts was a non starter due to the tax debt, so they all knew liquidation was inevitable) promised RFC that they'd be helped through regardless. Please oh please may he have recorded that one!

Pudgie The EBT's that were used, the ones that Rangers gained "no sporting advantage" from. You know. The one that gave you millions to spend on players that you never should have had, unless of course you had declared this to the SFA, but that never happened...

Pudgie Wait, were you asking me to elaborate (el-ab-or-ate) or saying that the way he cheated was elaborate (el-ab-or-it)

Very much enjoyed this one

Surely that is just a dream ???? Although we really don't need a recording as we know it happened regardless

Whyte,Chuckles(who didn't know Whyte at the time allegedly) and the dude from the impartial administrators have all been charged but with what ?

"alleged fraudulent acquisition",

Is this an actual police charge ? Surely the police have charged them with " fraudulent acquisition " and must have evidence or they wouldn't be bringing them to court.

If found guilty, then doesn't whatever was stolen have to be returned to the rightful owner ?
