Right was thinking about this the other day and would love some clarification. 

Do we know for sure if the 50 percent sell on is true? 

I swear when he signed we paid a fee to "drastically reduce the sell on percentage" so unless it was higher than 50 already surely its lower than that?

Obviously I want him here forever but would be good to know whats the story.

I know duk himself said benfica own 50 percent, but he could just not know? just found it weird we paid to reduce the sell on if it’s still 50

Or maybe the reports when we first bought him were wrong. As you said Duk clarified the situation and Goodwin also felt the need to comment on it while Utd manager. So it's pretty clear
