He was on holiday mid-December......it's possible but all we know is he had pneumonia and later tested positive for covid. Whether that pneumonia was actually caused by the covid or whether he contracted covid as a secondary infection I'm not sure we will ever find out

He and his family have gone on holiday fully knowing and accepting the risks so fair enough, that’s their choice. They definitely shouldn’t receive any sympathy.  You can’t take a 100 year old man half way across the globe for a holiday during a pandemic and not expect this result.

Sky now saying he was in hospital with pneumonia but got home where he felt more comfortable, then tested positive so a good chance he did catch it in hospital?
